1. Daejeon
Daejeon is the fifth biggest city in Korea and placed in the center of Korea, so it is easily accessible. We recommend two places in Daejeon: Sung Sin Dang Bakery and the Yuseon Hot Springs.

-Sung Sim Dang Bakery-
This place is famous for its delicious and special bread. There are two famous special breads. One is the fried streusel bread, which is filled with red-bean paste and fried deeply and covered with crispy cookie dough. It smells very good. The other is Korean leek bread, which tastes good and looks like Chinese dumplings. People get in long lines to buy these breads in front of the bakery shop every day.

-Yuseon Hot spring-

At Yuseon, there are various natural hot springs with different qualities of water. People from the Silla era went there to heal wounds and sickness. Now, there are various accommodation options, restaurants, markets, convenience stores and transportation options. To get there, take a 23 minute subway ride from Daejeon Station. The hot spring can refresh tiredness caused by travel. If you feel tired, hot springs are one of the good ways to make you healthier.

2. Jeonju
We recommend two places in Jeon-ju. : Han-ok village and young-men mall.

-Han-ok village-
When Koreans think about Jeon-ju, they think of Han-ok housing. In the village, there are many Han-ok, Korean style houses which were built almost a hundred years ago.
This village did not emerge in a natural way, but emerged purposely to create a “Korean territory” in an era when Japanese style houses dominated.
In the Han-ok village, you can take regular tour courses for free. They will show you important sightseeing spots in Jeon-ju Han-ok village. Furthermore, you can actively participate in cooking Korean foods, making paper ‘Han-ji’ handmade from mulberry trees, making ‘Boo-chae’ paper fans and making your own pottery.
When you visit there for more than a day, you can rent accommodation in the village, and experience traditional life in a Korean style house. Accommodation room charges vary from  40000 won to 100000 won a day.

-Young-Men Mall-

The Young-Men Mall is located on the 2nd floor of the Jeon-ju southern traditional market. Many stores in this market are opened by young men with fresh ideas.
In this market, you can see the walls painted with various shapes and vivid colors, and mottos on each shop displaying their character. One young man’s store bears the motto: ‘Earn moderately, Live very well.’ They just want to be happy always, not focusing on making a lot of money.
There are so many stores in ‘Young-Men Mall’ but each store sells different items. Items range from sweet potato foods, Japanese foods, board games, handmade products like dolls, and interior items.
Every Saturday, the Young-Men Mall holds a ‘night market’. This is similar to a flea market but there is a small concert. You can shop more happily on Saturday night.

It will be valuable time if you go to the ‘Young-Men Mall’. ♥

3. Busan
Busan is the second biggest city in Korea. We recommend that you visit the beaches and Nampodong.

-Haeundae & Songjeong Beach-
Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Korea. Every summer, many people come there from all around the country. You can easily go there by using subway (Line 2 Haeundae Station) or bus. There are many tourist attractions near Haeundae such as Busan Aquarium, Haeundae hot-spring, and Busan marina. During July and August, some festivals like the Busan Sea Festival, Haeundae Beach Festival are held in Haeundae. Come here! You will enjoy the sun, the waves and the vibrant atmosphere.

If you don’t like noisy places, you’d better choose Songjeong Beach near Haeundae. Because less people go there, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. If you want to walk along soft sand and play in clear water, add Songjeong Beach to your travel plan without hesitation!

-Nampodong-
Nampodong had been the center of Busan but is still hot in summer. Take the subway and get off Line 1 at Nampo Station. Then you can arrive there. There are many sightseeing places. We recommend that you go to the food alley where there are various kinds of foods. PIFF square, fashion street and wall painting village are also famous places in Nampodong. You can see movie star’s hand printing in PIFF square or go shopping at the fashion street where there are many brand shops, vintage shops and unique road shops.
